Christian worked abroad as a ski instructor in Canada and Australia, this added substantial refinements to his command of the English language. He joined Mountain Masters 11 years ago, a team which is always willing to keep on learning.

I would like to give you the opportunity to achieve your goals, whatever they might be. If it's to improve your skiing, then I would like to share my knowledge to advance your skiing to its potential as quickly as possible.-

I would like to share my passion for skiing, snowboarding and telemarking with you in a way that allows you to progress at your own speed. I specialise in off-piste tuition and trips and would love to take you to find the best untracked slopes in the area.

Philippe has been in Val d’Isere for 22 years now – and is a fully qualified ski instructor.  Philippe is also a trainer for aspiring ski teachers going through the French ski instructors system. -

Working his way up from Plongeur to Moniteur, Phill qualified to teach in 1992. He has achieved the highest teaching qualification available to instruct and is a former British Masters Giant Slalom Champion.

Rupert is qualified to the top level, and is a Race Coach (APC2). He is also a trainer for the British Association of Snowsports Instructors, coaching and examining would-be ski teachers. Rupert has taught in Switzerland and Courchevel.

Tansy enjoys all aspects of skiing from the nursery slopes to the fun of moguls, giant slalom and ski touring. She is keen to see more female skiers improving their all round skiing skills to enjoy the whole mountain and all that it presents.

Simon has achieved the highest qualification available to instruct, and has been working in Val d’Isère since 1994. Formerly a practising barrister, he also sits on the Board of Directors of BASI as their Legal Director.

A former member of the French Ski Team for 3 years, I transmit my passion of riding to others through a personalized and fun teaching since 1999. A local, I will take you around the Espace Killy, skiing or telemarking, and will reveal the true rider that lies in you !

Franck has been a ski teacher for 12 years. For the last 8 years, he has been a specialist in off-piste and télémark. Franck's goals are: pleasure, new sensation and understanding movement.
