Philippe Raoux

I have spent the last 22 winter seasons in Val d’Isère. I am a founder member of Mountain Masters and instrumental in its innovative approach. Alongside this I was a partner in Ski System (a school with a radical approach to ski teaching) for 12 summers on the glacier of Les 2 Alpes.

Mentored by Mauro Anghilante (author of the book 'Capire lo Sci' - 'Understanding Skiing') and by Françoise Balmer (founder of the 'Ski and Eutonie' method), I am a trainer for the Fédération Française de Ski and also of the Lebanese Ski Federation. I speak English, Italian and Swedish and my passion for skiing and the clothing associated with it has lead me to be a technical consultant for Hestra Gloves.

Interested in a sensory approach to skiing and teaching and combined with my experience of other teaching methods, I have developed a new concept for ski teaching - 'the sixth sense'.
